It's Official - Secretary

Last night I was elected to serve as Secretary for Overland Park Masonic Lodge #436 for 2018.

While I have been filling in the position as Secretary pro tempore for most of this last year, I will be officially installed in the office this Saturday.

I am pretty sure most brothers do not know how much goes through the office. I know I didn't before I stepped in when our Secretary for the last 30 years began having issues with his health early in 2017. It is quite a bit of work, almost a full-time job some weeks.

However much work it is, I find it rewarding and fulfilling. So, I am looking forward to an exciting 2018. Thanks to all my brothers who have shown confidence in my ability to serve (or just didn't want the job themselves).
