Macquarie Group

My role at Macquarie Group is to administer, implement, and maintain the Microsoft 365 and other online collaboration services, such as Workplace by Meta for the Macquarie Americas Region. I maintain the Governance and Security models for these platforms. I also design and implement policies and procedures involving acquisition data migrations. Additionally, I provide escalated third level support for global collaboration services groups.

My role at Waddell & Reed was as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Architect for M365 & Azure design & implementation for migration of on-premises LoB systems, network file shares, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business to O365 & Azure. Performed technical oversight for vendor implementations of O365 & Azure configurations as well as primary on project critical path tasks involving Azure Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, Exchange 2013 to Exchange Online, Security Policies, Data Loss Prevention Policy (DLP), Sensitive Information Labels, Records Retention policy, Intune, Office 365, Endpoint Management, Teams, Licensing, Compliance policies, Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), eDiscovery, Company Branding, Identity Governance, Flow, Power Apps, Stream, Yammer, Event Hub, Reporting, & Auditing. I trained the internal IT staff on usage of the admin centers & developed policies for cybersecurity and internal processes & procedures updating. I also designed automation using PowerShell to perform administrative tasks involving O365 & Azure.

 

I was also primary administrator for five on-premises SharePoint environments and I also designed & implemented a migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, then from on-premises to SharePoint Online with SharePoint 2019 hybrid configuration.

Served as President & Chief Executive Officer of EGenius Group, LLC., providing internet presence solutions to small businesses and non-profit organizations. My role at EGenius was to set the strategy and direction for the company as a whole. I led the senior executive team which established and promoted the company vision and values. My role was also to understand the business needs of customers, determine potential markets, product lines, services differentiation, budgets and partnerships. I modeled and set the company culture to provide a professional atmosphere and promote excellence in customer service.

I led a team of technical specialists in the SharePoint Professional Services team of Rackspace US, Inc. Cloud Office Professional Services. My role was to understand the business needs of customers, design IT solutions to address those needs that deliver exceptional value, and to shepherd the delivery of our services through to successful completion. My role included a combination of pre-sales engineering, business & process analysis, infrastructure architecture consulting, engagement management and service delivery.
